About this work
River landscape with the depiction of the parable of the Good Samaritan. In the foreground, the Good Samaritan cares for the wounded traveler. Then the traveler is helped onto his horse and brought to the inn. In the background, the Levite and the priest who left the traveler to his fate. The print has an ornamental border with flowers, fishes and animals. It is part of a series of 24 landscapes with Biblical, mythological scenes and hunting scenes.
