About this work
In the procession behind Queen Money follow Honour (Honor), Glory (Splendor) and Fame (Fama). Although positive, their attributes point to their transience. Honour holds flowers and a censer, Glory a sealed document and Fame blows a trumpet. Between them four flatterers (Parasiti), who profit from others' wealth and success. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series on the miseries that wealth brings.
