About this work
Surrounded by saints and apostles Christ sits enthroned in the clouds. He is carried by a man, a lion, an ox and an eagle, the symbols of the four evangelists. Around him in the clouds people in adoration. Below on earth lie the defeated by Christ Love, Time, Fame, Chastity and Death. Bottom right the mouth of hell. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of the series about the Triumphs of Petrarch.
