About this work
Portrait of Maurice standing almost full-face, half-length. Below the portrait a six-line Dutch inscription listing all the titles of the prince. The prince wears a hat, holds his cloak with his left hand, which hangs over his left shoulder. On his chest hangs the Order of the Garter on a ribbon. In the background a drapery that is gathered in the lower left.
