About this work
Two impressions on one sheet in an ornamental frame. Left: Isaac lying on a bed and giving his blessing to his son Jacob who kneels beside the bed. In the doorway stands Rebekka (Gen. 27:27). Right: a sleeping Jacob and four angels descending from heaven via a ladder (Gen. 28:12). Inscription in the margins in Dutch. Third and fourth print (c and d) from a series of six with scenes from the life of Jacob.
