About this work

Two impressions on one sheet in an ornamental frame. Left: Jacob kissing and embracing Rachel. The sheep of Rachel drink from a well (Gen. 29:10). Right: Esau embracing Jacob. In the background stand Leah and Rachel with their children and the soldiers of Esau (Gen. 33:4). Inscription in the margins in Dutch. Fifth and sixth print (e and f) from a series of six with scenes from the life of Jacob.
