About this work
Kneeling men and women pray towards heaven. In the clouds the Trinity, surrounded by angels. On earth it is shown that believers perform works of mercy: feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, visiting the sick and prisoners, clothing the naked, sheltering the stranger, and burying the dead. The Latin inscription is the first part of the prayer the Our Father.
