About this work
Water-rich landscape with Jacob and the men of the nearby place Haran at the water well. Two men remove the stone from the well for Rachel so that her father's flock can be watered. Rachel comes walking with her flock. In the margin an inscription in Latin, with biblical reference to Genesis 29.
