About this work

Satirical print on Napoleon from 1813, where his face is constructed from the corpses of his victims, his hat is the Prussian eagle, his epaulet is a grasping hand. The collar is a river of blood, his coat the battlefield of Europe, and the insignia of the Legion of Honour on his chest is a spider's web.
