About this work
On the steps of the Temple of Castor sits Metellus, accompanied by Caesar. Marcus Porcius Cato the Younger storms the steps and comes between the two. Cato snatches the letter from Metellus's hands, and Thermus holds his hand over his mouth to prevent him from speaking.
