About this work
St. John of Bridlington (also St. John Twenge). He wears a priest's habit. His right hand he holds against his chest. Around his head is a halo. He looks towards the left corner of the print. In the upper left corner sit Christ, God and the Holy Spirit (a dove) in the clouds. An eagle flies next to St. John. In his beak he has a scroll with the text 'Amor meus Iesus'. The print has a Latin inscription and a dedication.
