About this work
St. John of Bridlington (also St. John Twenge). He wears a priest's habit. His right hand he holds against his chest. Around his head a halo. In the upper left corner sit Christ, God and the Holy Spirit (a dove) in the clouds. An eagle flies next to St. John. In his beak he has a scroll with the text 'Amor meus Iesus'. The print has a Latin inscription.
