About this work
Two men carry a cask of beer to a tavern. In the ditch lies a drunkard with a jug in his hand. A fourth man points him to the cask. With three lines of inscription in German, French and Dutch: Gene connen wel tonnen dragen vol groot bier, Desen bengel met een mengsel fallt in de sloot hier.
