About this work

King Cyrus accuses Daniel of not honoring the god Bel. He asks his priests to prove that Bel indeed eats the food placed before him every night. Two jesters play on the ground in front of the throne. On the right stand the priests, on the left stands Daniel pointing to the temple of Bel.
