About this work
Abigail, the wife of Nabal, has donkeys loaded with loaves of bread and jars of wine. She will bring the food to David. Abigail speaks with one of her servants, who is a shepherd. Below the image, a reference in Latin to the Biblical text in 1 Samuel 25.
