About this work
In a rocky landscape Abraham and Isaac stand on a road. Abraham is about to sacrifice his son Isaac. From heaven the angel of God descends to stop Abraham. After this trial Abraham goes to sacrifice a lamb instead of his son. This lamb can now be seen in a bush to the right of the road.
