About this work

Soldiers of the States Army, a standard-bearer on horseback, and sailors, numbered 14 to 37. The procession depicts the embassy of the Sultan of Aceh to Prince Maurice and the States on September 4, 1602. Part of a portfolio containing a series of eight lithographs of the Delft procession of 1862.
