Guards on the walls of Jerusalem. Allegory on political events in the Netherlands on 19 September 1579. Personifications of Striving (Proeliari), Watching (Vigilare), and Praying (Orare) standing on the city wall of Jerusalem. Possibly in relation to the capture of the fort at Willebroek on 19 September 1579. In the inscription two verses of four lines each in Dutch and French.
