About this work
In a room with a window on the left sit a young lady and an older man. In front of them a money bag and a chest with valuables. The man offers the woman a piece of jewelry. Behind her back Amor is about to break his bow. Next to the woman on the floor a sewing basket, a pair of scissors and a sleeping cat. With a poem that refers to love for money.
