To the rear right sits Ferdinand's stepmother, Elisabetta Farnese of Parma, pointing to the portrait of her husband, Philip V of Spain. Her daughters stand beside her. To the right in the foreground, the Church, wearing the papal tiara, and putti offer one of her sons the bishop's mitre.
