The Dutch and English ships in line at the beginning of the sea battle at Dogger Bank on 5 August 1781 between the Dutch fleet under Rear-Admiral Johan Zoutman and the English fleet under Vice-Admiral Hyde Parker. In the margin the title in broken Dutch. Part of a series of four German plates of sea battles in the year 1781.
