About this work
On a farmer's cart full of turnips or radishes, a man and woman are making music. Behind the cart a procession of men and women trying to secure as many turnips as possible. In the middle in the foreground two fighting men. On the right in the foreground a clergyman is offered the turnips. Allegory on greed.
