About this work

The personification of the Republic of the Netherlands sits on a throne and is surrounded by the personifications of Faith, Liberty, Peace, Navigation, Trade, Fortune and Abundance. On the far right stand personifications of the continents Asia, Africa and America ready with gifts for the enthroned Republic. In the margin stands a four-line text in Dutch.
