About this work
Cloud cover with the god Apollo as personification of the East wind (Eurus). He holds a scepter and a lyre in his hands and is accompanied by Ortus (Morning), depicted as a blowing head without a body. On the earth the continent Asia and Spring are personified. On the right in the background a view of Bantam and the people of India. In the margin a four-line inscription, in two columns, in Latin. Below it a two-line inscription with a dedication in Latin.
