Top left an owl on a branch is attacked by birds. Center above the title stands an eagle with spread wings. In the top right corner a goat or ram is attacked by a bear. On the right fight successively a dog with a deer and a wolf with a sheep. Bottom in the margin a hunter walks with his prey and next to a large monogram IG stands a heron with frogs. On the verso of this woodcut is a piece of text from the book for which this illustration was used.
