Life of Christ

Various scenes about the life of Christ from the Gospel of Luke. The scenes are numbered by passage. Far right of the print Christ heals a paralyzed man who was lowered on a bed by his friends (Luke 5:17-26). Next Christ visits the house of tax collector Levi and has a feast there (Luke 5:27-39). On the foreground and left of the print some of Christ's sayings are depicted. On the foreground two blind men fall into a pit (Luke 6:39). On the left a boy with a splinter in his eye is scolded by an older man with a beam in his eye (Luke 6:41-42). In the background Christ brings the dead son of a widow from Nain back to life (Luke 7:11-17). In the middle of the print Christ sends the twelve apostles out on mission (Luke 9:1-6).
