Tombstone or Epitaph for German Theologian Johannes Schelhammer in the Evangelical Lutheran Church at the Lutherse Burgwal in The Hague. A Plate with Latin Inscription in Memory of Him Is the Center of an Architectural Frame. This Is Crowned with a Medallion Depicting the Symbol of Christ's Suffering: a Pelican Feeds Her Young with Her Own Blood. Two Mourning Women Flank a Portrait of Schelhammer.
