About this work
Barbers treat ailments of various cats and monkeys. Two monkeys support a third monkey in the doorway. On the right, an owl sits on a beam. Part of a series consisting of a title print and plates in which monkeys appear as humans in various scenes from daily life. The print has a two-line verse in Dutch.
