About this work
In a room, old, banking monkeys weigh and count money. The coins are stored in money bags in a strongbox. Young monkeys throw the money on the floor. Part of a series consisting of a title print and plates in which monkeys appear as humans in various scenes from daily life. The print has a two-line verse in Dutch.
