About this work

The English Admiral Edward Spragge drives the States fleet out of the mouth of the Thames, July 23, 1667. After the successful Raid on the Medway, the remaining Dutch ships are driven out of the Thames. Framed depiction with an angel at the top holding two trumpets and a laurel wreath, and at the bottom a cartouche with the English title.
