About this work

The rich man lies on his deathbed. Family and friends mourn the dead. On the left in the background through a window can be seen how the soul of the poor Lazarus is carried to heaven by angels. On the right in the background through a window can be seen how the soul of the rich man is transported to hell by a devil. Print from a series of four with the Parable of the Rich Man and the Poor Lazarus.
