About this work
Design for a decorative goblet on the occasion of the celebrations surrounding the 30th anniversary of the Iron Cross, celebrated in The Hague in August 1861. The goblet was presented to Joost Hendrik Burlage, designer of the Association of the Iron Cross, as a sign of gratitude and friendship by the association. On the pedestal, the decoration is drawn. On the right side, some notes. This copy has been folded and sent to the Board of the Association of the Iron Cross in Zaltbommel.
