Naval battle in which the six Spanish galleys of Spinola are defeated by the States fleet in the Channel, 3 October 1602. In the foreground, part of the crew of the sunken ships can reach the Flemish coast. In the distance to the left, the English coast with the town of Dover; to the right, Ostend. With title and seven-line inscription in German printed separately above the print.
