About this work
The personification of the Art of Writing sits with a feather in hand at a table where three kneeling naked women offer her writing tools. A little angel in the air holds a paper with the text: L.V.L. Antwort an H.V.L. To the right of the Art of Writing play putti, behind the Art of Writing sits a man in contemporary clothing with a pipe by the fireplace.
