About this work
Official ceremony at the unveiling of the National Monument in honor of the Ten Days' Campaign 1831 and in memory of the popular spirit of 1830-1831 on the Dam in Amsterdam. The statue of the female personification of Unity received the nickname 'Naatje van de Dam'. To the left of the Royal Palace, a podium with King William III.
