About this work
Allegory on the entry of Archduke Charles of Austria as King Charles III of Spain in Barcelona, October 1705. The archduke riding on horseback at the city gate, accompanied by allegorical figures with a portrait of Emperor Leopold I and cheered by the people. In the clouds allegorical figures and putti with crowns and palm branches. Printed on the sheet below the plate a verse in two columns.
