View of the Willige Rasphuis on the IJgracht (current Prins Hendrikkade) in Amsterdam. On the left in the background the Oosterkerk. In 1782 the prisoners of this institution moved to the new Spin- en Nieuwe Werkhuis on the Weesperveld. From 1785 the building on the IJgracht was used as a Kweekschool voor de Zeevaart (Maritime School). Title in Dutch and French below the image. Numbered in the top right: 34.
