About this work

Satirical print on the struggle between Arminians and Calvinists over the De Witt brothers and the Orangists in Amsterdam, probably ca. 1758. Arminians and Calvinists are fighting around a table in a garden; the reason is their differing opinions on the struggle between the De Witt brothers and the Prince in 1672. On the left, a goat being mounted by a bull is being watched. Below the print a verse in 3 columns.
