Satirical print on Napoleon after the defeat at the Battle of Leipzig, 1813. Napoleon has lost his mind and sits in a chamber pot playing with toy soldiers. To the left of the emperor an angry general. Napoleon's three brothers lose their crowns: on the right sits his brother Joseph Bonaparte, King of Spain, defeated on a chair. In the foreground his brother Jérôme Bonaparte, King of Westphalia, is chased by a Cossack. To the left further back Louis Napoleon raises his hands in despair. To the right De Celles flees. Many of the French in the scene are chased by Cossacks on horseback. In the air the German and French eagles fight. Numbers written by hand next to the figures in the scene correspond to the numbers in the separate explanations accompanying the print.
