About this work
At the top the portrait of Prince William V as a child. He is surrounded by cherubs. In the centre of the print the Oude Hof in The Hague (the current Paleis Noordeinde), which the House of Orange 'bought back' from Frederick the Great in 1754. Left and right of the image respectively the allegorical figures Fortuna and Neptune. In the title on the left reference is made to Princess Anna of Hanover who makes a new Orange court from the old court. At the bottom of the print the coat of arms and the motto of the Orange-Nassau family. Around the shield armour and ornaments. The print has various Dutch and German titles.
