About this work
An official of William the Good had taken a profitable cow from a farmer and replaced it with a less good specimen. After the farmer lodged his complaint with the sheriff in Dordrecht it turned out he was colluding with the bailiff. The farmer went to William the Good who on his deathbed realized the man had been wronged. Numbered top right: 7.
