About this work

His poor health had meant that William the Good could no longer leave his bed. When war broke out between the King of Bohemia, John of Luxembourg and John III, Duke of Brabant, he decided to intervene. He had himself carried to the battlefield in his bed and there the peace was signed. Numbered top right: 6.
