About this work
Meeting of the national synod in Dordrecht in 1618. The image gives an overview of the large hall with all present, indicated by numbers. In the (incomplete) separately printed Latin legend below the image, the names corresponding to the numbers are listed by province. In this state of the print, the inscription about the expected French delegation (see FM 1342a) is missing next to the empty benches (right). The print has been cut off at the top, so the Dutch title is missing.
