About this work
Meeting of the national synod in Dordrecht in 1619. The image gives an overview of the large hall in the Kloveniersdoelen with all present, indicated by numbers. In the separately printed legend below the image, the names corresponding to the numbers are listed by province. Next to the empty benches (right) is an inscription about the expected French delegation. Above the image, the Latin title has been added in the plate.
