About this work
Allegory on creation: a paradisiacal landscape with various animals on land, in the air and in the water. The moon and stars are in the sky. Right in the foreground a woman, crowned with a compass, pointing to a Tetragrammaton, which as a symbol of God the Father is in the sky. The representation is enclosed in a cartouche, crowned with a globe and four putti on the corners.
