About this work
Allegory on the Creation: a paradisiacal landscape with various animals on land, in the air, and in the water. The moon and stars are in the sky. On the right in the foreground a woman, crowned with a compass, points to a tetragram, which as a symbol of God the Father is in the sky. The scene is enclosed in a cartouche, crowned with a globe and four putti at the corners.
