About this work
Christ and the two sinners crucified on Mount Golgotha. Below the cross of Christ stand the Marys and John the Evangelist. At the foot of the cross a skull and a chained monster. In the foreground soldiers dipping the sponge in vinegar and casting lots for the clothing of Christ. In the background onlookers and a view of Jerusalem. Above the two sinners a group of angels and a dragon. A line of Latin text in the lower margin.
