About this work

Christ on the cross between the two criminals (John 19:18). Below the cross, three soldiers cast lots for Christ's mantle. Mary is comforted by John and Mary Magdalene. The print bears a Latin inscription and is part of a series on the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ.
