About this work

A decorative composition consisting of two panels with interlaced work. In the upper left, armor between two medallions and two seated figures blowing trumpets. Below, an obelisk as a pedestal for a vase, with flying putti with garlands on the left and right. Two caryatids support the obelisk. At the bottom, two dragon-like creatures. On the right, a vase on a pedestal above an arch with an eagle and putti. Hanging under the arch is a medallion with a portrait above a censer. A half-naked woman stands on either side of the censer. At the bottom, two music-making angels sit above a satyr with two trumpets.
