Mercury, the god of trade, flies in, and Fortuna scatters her riches from a cloud. In the background, purchases are made at a counter and goods are brought in by ships. Surrounding the scene is a gate with the personification of shipping in the upper left and the city maiden of Amsterdam in the upper right. At the bottom are river gods.
